REASON #8
BECAUSE DOGS ROLL IN STUFF
Our Josie is a roller. Her back yard isn't all that large, so she examines every blade of grass like Sherlock Holmes on the hunt for clues. And when she finds something . . . interesting, she plants her cheek on it and sloooowly slides over it so it coats every inch of her body.
Now mind you, we may not always be able to see what she's rolled in, but trust us, it's there -- we can tell by the smell.
So when she hops up on our sectional and burrows into the cushions, she's transferring her latest discovery right into our upholstery.

Seriously?? Our kids have fallen asleep on that couch and the thought that Josie's latest find is now embedded in their hair, on their faces, in their clothes is disquieting, to say the least.
A waterproof blanket is a shield for your furniture. It catches all the yuck so all you have to do is toss it in your washing machine. Couch dry. Kids clean. Mission accomplished.
