BECAUSE PUPPIES DON'T COME HOUSEBROKEN
We get it -- puppies are A.D.O.R.A.B.L.E. God made them that way for a reason -- so people forget how much work they are.
And housebreaking one can be daunting. Especially if you live on the 15th floor of an apartment overlooking the Pacific, with a view of Santa Monica to the left and Malibu to the right (we digress -- that's where a certain son and his darling new bride live).
They bring their adorable labradoodle pup with them when they travel, and after she peed on the rug (and the floor, and the couch . . .) (the labradoodle, not the bride) and we gently asked if they were having trouble, um, you know, housebreaking her, they blithely replied, "She's housebroken for us."
Yup, a waterproof blanket definitely comes in handy with puppies. Kittens too.
